Had another solid night. Missed a bit in qualifying, but made the invert and got us the pole of our heat race. Won the heat from the pole with pretty good pace.

Started outside front row of the feature and actually got a decent start. Got roughed up a bit entering turn 3 on that first lap and lost a bunch of momentum. Cost us several spots all the way back to 6th. Passed a few back and ran even pace to all but the leader ahead of us. Brought home a decent p4 finish.

I saw this quote the other day, and it really struck me. I could see doing things a little different in the near future. Maybe the gaps that aren’t there really are, or will be? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Congratulations to Team Edwards Racing on another victory ✌🏼

Next one is Tuesday July 8 at Millbridge.

Thanks again to this group that backs us!

Big night for us last night. Nolan pulled double duty and drove his buddy Connor Bormann’s 02 Jr Wing. First laps ever in that type of kart and ran a lap .06 from the pole good enough for 5th in time. Ran P4 in the heat to lock into the feature. Started 11th and brought it home safe and sound in 14th. Not a spectacular night, but was pretty pleased with how it all went. Got some great experience in a faster class/kart and overall did an awesome job for the debut. Thanks again Bormann family!

Box stock was a bit of a struggle. Got messed up with a kart spinning in front of us in qualifying and missed the invert by .001 😕 Ran P4 in our heat and missed transfer by 1. Won our B main from the pole and started deep in the A main. Track conditions were slick and just didn’t have the handle on it but managed to bring it home 13th in a crazy, wreck fest of a feature. We’ll get it cleaned up and ready to go again for Saturday!
