Spring Home Maintenance Checklist

Its that time of year! Spring is the perfect time to give your home a little attention before the heat sets in. A few small tasks now can prevent bigger (and more expensive) problems later.

1. Change air filters
2. Replace batteries in smoke & CO detectors
3. Check attic for leaks
4. Wash windows inside & out
5. Clean out gutters
6. Repair damaged window & door screens
7. Inspect brick/stucco for cracks or chipping
8. Pressure wash driveway, patio & deck (reseal if needed)
9. Add fresh mulch around trees & beds
10. Prune landscaping
11. Clean window wells & confirm proper drainage
