Alan Turing, considered the father of computer science and artificial intelligence, has Aspergers. At age 22, he proved the Central Limit Thereom & was elected fellowship at King’s College. At 24, he published a paper that laid the groundwork for machines we today call computers. At age 30, he cracked the Nazi’s Enigma Code during WWII which shortened the war by 2-3 years and saved 21 million lives. Turing had Severe impairments in reciprocal social interactions and subtleties of language like irony, humor, and sarcasm. He spoke rhythmically in a high pitched tone, lacked eye contact, and had poor handwriting. One of the most influential figures of the 20th century was on the spectrum!
