Sometimes God has a way of working on your heart to put you where you need to be.
After a good nights rest, I had that filling in the pit of my stomach, telling me RESET. It's time to reset.
We are going to make a push to be back in the 360 sprint car division. We miss the snap and the power that the 360 provides and want to go faster than what our current 305 engine can provide.
It's time to pause what we are doing and get this operation to the point where it needs to be.
I've got another business venture with powder coating starting off that will need my attention to take that to the next level much like we have done with Mottzarellas.
We also want to get in the shop and get our parts inventory back where it needs to be along with getting this engine moved and getting a 360 power plant under the hood. Sometimes that takes stepping away to get things right.
I've always been the type that we don't go to the racetrack unless we are right and running properly. We did not go racing today because we didn't feel we would have the problem resolved, and there was more of an underlying issue in the fuel lines that needed to be corrected going forward.
We originally anticipated a good season with the East Coast super sprints after a successful 2025 that resulted in us finishing in the top five every night and second place in points.
When that series folded, it left me and a lot of other guys scrambling to find somewhere to race and some of those guys are no longer racing because they didn't have anywhere to go and some of them moved onto the 360 sprint car division.
I owe it to my sponsors to get this correct and not just go out there and ride around. Their sponsorships will carryover to next season as we owe that to them.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the track again for the 2027 season but just know we are working behind the scenes to make things right and where they need to be. Thanks -Shawn Mott

This must be my year for bad luck. Car ran fine in hot laps and then in the heat race it acted like it was starving for fuel.
We came in and found some injector nozzles that were clogged and cleaned all of that out, fire the car back up and it sounded good. In the A main event it went around the racetrack on parade lap just fine but before the end of the first lap, it started to backfire and act like it was starving for fuel.
We are going to skip tomorrow and take it back to the house and go over everything in the fuel system from the fuel tank all the way to the barrel valve.
All of our fuel lines will be going to Brown & Miller aka BMRS to get new lines made for methanol fuel vs the cheaper push on lines I've used over the year in spots. The cost will be worth it.
Special thanks to Mastiff Dumps Dumpsters & Solutions LLC for coming out tonight and we are sorry we didn't hold up our end of the bargain putting up a good performance but these things happen in racing sometimes.
Thanks to Elevated Garage Solutions Jordan Pierce - North Carolina Farm Bureau Rowan Garys Golf Carts & Broomes Poultry for supporting this team and we can't wait to get back to the track again and put up performances we know we can be proud of. It's time to move on from the 305 engine though and get with the ASCS legal 360 engine though and really do some work!! See yall at the next race.
Don't be mad, enjoy the symphony!
