Council Member Mayfield is hosting a community town hall on Saturday, February 7, from 9:00–11:00 AM at Hillcrest Baptist Church (8501 Bellhaven Blvd).
This meeting will focus on how we got here and where we’re going, with an emphasis on the Community Area Plan (CAP), safety initiatives, and community infrastructure. This town hall will be different from the last one, with dedicated time for interaction and discussion with City staff about issues specific to our community.
Staff from CDOT, CMPD, Storm Water Services, Parks & Recreation, and Planning will be in attendance. Council Member Mayfield also lives in our community and shares many of the same challenges and frustrations residents experience firsthand.
Residents are encouraged to submit questions in advance to help keep the discussion productive and focused:

This is an important opportunity to provide input that will help guide future planning and decision-making. We hope you’ll attend and participate.
Strong turnout and thoughtful participation will make a real difference. Thank you for helping spread the word and for your continued leadership in advocating for our communities.
