A fun little multimedia (photography and illustration) piece featuring the sweetest pupper, Annie

Illustration based off a photo I took in Cascais, Portugal earlier this year during my first time overseas! Also about two days before we nearly got stranded in Portugal because the US closed its borders over increased concerns of Covid. Woo!

Mostly VX1 shots with a dash of Thistles and tourist traffic.

It’s National Dog Day and a perfect opportunity to share a few ideas for how you can use the graphic art that you commission! Currently, both my parents have cartoon Callies on their phone’s popsocket, and we all have stickers of her sweet face (she’s on my laptop and hard drive).
When you commission your graphic art, I go over printing and application options, but I realized I hadn’t posted publicly about the ways you can use the art you buy. DM me if this sparks some ideas and if you want your pupper (or literally anything else) on some neat personalized pieces!

Some highlights from the weekly summer series in Newport, RI with the VX1 fleet.

Worked with a slight handicap because of a much needed lens recalibration so fewer shots came out crisp, but a nice handful came out looking good! Overall, really great to be back shooting on the water again.

I recently expanded into another art form that makes me so happy... I specifically chose “Chenard Visuals” for my business name because I didn’t want to limit my art to one medium. That was 2.5 years ago and it was only a few weeks ago that I gave myself permission to explore. Here’s some of my recent work!
