The Raise The Roof event hosted by Special Needs Community Initiative took place at Rankin Lake Park, a beautiful location sponsored by the Gaston County Parks & Rec. To all the runners/walkers and sponsors who participated in yesterday's event, it was great to meet you. If you missed this one, keep your eye out as I have no doubt that this organization will reach out to GO AHEAD Event Management to organize another awesome event next year.

As a Gold Sponsor to the event, I'd like to shout out to all the other sponsors and a special call out to the Platinum sponsor, Esquire Hotel for being a part of the community that will help individuals with developmental disabilities achieve independence through programs being offered now and the community that will provide a safe place to live.

Great work is getting done but it can't happen without great people who support events like this.
