This is the work of the mother of one of the dear people I've had the privilege of teaching. Sarah Crutchfield Logan is well acquainted with contemplation and the necessity of one's mind being free of the forces of commoditization / when there's so much stuff, everything is JUST stuff. I can imagine her doing - things (notice, difference between "things" and "stuff" - "stuff" is more, well, cheap, incohate, "just stuff"-sounding) ... with this image.
