SO incredibly proud of team, Rider, Holden Harrell with his commanding Wynn of the junior boys category yesterday at the Pisgah All Mountain Challenge, the first-ever Enduro held within Pisgah, proper. Holden not only clocked the fastest time of the junior boys by over six minutes, but was also the fastest rider out of anyone who raced the short course yesterday by over 30 seconds, racing two stages (Upper/Upper Black >> Avery & Middle >> Lower Black), climbing up Black Mountain for both stages. BIG things are on the horizon for this young man as he is just getting started racing gravity events. Next up? DHSE at Beech in just a couple weeks.

A rather heartbreaking weekend for Matilda at Massanutten once again… coming off the high of her first Pro podium at Windrock, was determined for redemption at the scene of her worst crash and injury ever last season. However, she was hammered with allergies a couple days before we left for Virginia, which then turned into a “severe viral infection “on Friday. However, being tough as nails - she insisted on staying and giving it her best shot. Saturday she could only complete two practice runs. Sunday she skipped practice and just barely completed a race run, which ended in tears… We are hoping for the best possible conditions, health, fitness, and recovery for Beech mountain for the next round!!! P3 for Matilda at the series Round 2 in Oliver Springs, TN for her first PRO Podium finish! Conditions were challenging with a dry and dusty track that was slippery and hard to find traction. Thankfully Matilda’s smooth and consistent style kept her in control and on pace, cleaning up some errors from her seeding run to drop over 10 seconds for her race run!
