We are excited to offer three different day and twilight camp opportunities this summer!
Gemstone District Day Camp - Iredell County
Lakeland District Day Camp - Catawba and Alexander Counties
Piedmont Council Twilight Camp (sponsored by the South Fork District) - Lincoln and Gaston Counties (a unique opportunity combining the fun and excitement of a traditional day camp with a more economical evening experience).

Check out our Baloo the Builder project! Our 2025-2026 Bear Den with their Den Leader Mike build this amazing flag retirement box! The kids all loved doing it. And thanks to Jason Sparks for the awesome plaque he made for it! I love that our pack works together to get projects done. Our box can be found outside the Family Life Center at Friendship Methodist Church, which happens to also be our Chartered Organization.

Congratulations to our newest Boy Scouts! They bridged (graduated) from the Cub Scout program tonight to the Troop. Troop 333 is excited about their 2 newest Scouts!
Lakeland District Pinewood Derby Recap
What an exciting day! Cub Scout Pack 333 was honored to host the Lakeland District Pinewood Derby right here in Newton.
From creative car designs to fast-paced races, it was incredible to see scouts from across the district come together for a day of fun, friendly competition, and scout spirit.
We are so proud of our Pack 333 scouts for their hard work and sportsmanship and grateful for everyone who helped make this event a success.
Thank you to all the leaders, volunteers, and families who showed up and made the day unforgettable!

This week, Cub Scout Pack 333 partnered with the FPC Newton Youth to prepare meals for those who are hungry right here in Newton.
Our scouts didn’t just serve, they also created Easter cards that will be included in the meals, sharing encouragement and love along with food.
If you’re looking for a way for your child (and your family!) to get involved, learn to serve others, and be part of something meaningful—we’d love to have you join us.

Thank you to our pack, today we helped feed the people in need in Newton. We helped prepare, box up and serve approximately 120 meals to those in need. Our Cubs learned a great lesson while helping our neighbors in need. Keep up the good work!

Who is ready for Lakeland District Pinewood Derby!! We are that is who. We have the privilege of hosting this year’s race at Friendship Methodist Church in Newton. Come on out and support our racers! Registration starts at 12N. We will have concessions as well. So come hungry and ready to race!
