Being able to freeze time is something i'm proud and passionate about. I've done it for my family and i'm blessed to be able to do it for others. My favorite moment to capture during a wedding is the groom's first look at his bride. It shows a thousand feelings behind a simple smile.

Doing what you love is happiness. Loving what you do is freedom.

Congratulations, to the soon to be parents!

In remembrance of W. Marshall Perry 07/03/2016

This week I experienced the most difficult and frightening job as a photographer yet. I photographed a funeral service for a local Norfolk Fire fighter. Marshall was My Sister-In-Law Erin's brother. Marshall, just like all of Erin's family has treated My family and I just like their own family. It was without hesitation, when Erin asked me to photograph and capture the service I immediately said yes.

I began to panic because I have never photographed anything like this and I wanted to make sure I did my very best.
I'll be honest, the day of I felt like I had no idea what I was doing. I'm not sure how all of my images didn't turn out blurry because I was shaking the entire time. Most of the day went by so quickly and blurred together. There were also moments where I felt frozen in time. It was extremely difficult seeing a family I care so much for in such pain and sorrow. Yet, some how I managed to be in the perfect place at the perfect time.

Marshall was a inspiring man who touched so many lives and it showed through this service. He will be truly missed by many. My only hope is that the family and friends of Marshall receive comfort and pride from my images.

On Saturday at the home coming of the USS GEORGE H.W. BUSH I was able to capture a priceless photo of a sailor proposing to his, now fiance. I was not able to locate them because I was on the inside of the pier gates and they were on the outside. I was actually shooting through the gates. Last night I created a l post in some of my Facebook yard sale groups each group has over 25,000 members. In just an hour of posting and a TON of shares we were able to find someone who knew her! This morning I woke up and I was provided with her email address to contact! It's truly amazing how quickly you can find someone through the internet!
