Most investors seeking solar exposure have been limited to publicly traded YieldCos, but when securities trade on an exchange, price can become disconnected from the value of the underlying projects.
Stock demand goes up, price goes up, yield goes down. Stock demand drops, price falls, yield shifts again.
Energea was built differently.
By investing directly into portfolios of solar projects, investors access assets at net asset value, tied to what it actually cost to build them and the contracted revenue they’re projected to generate. Not the daily swings of the stock market.
That’s the difference between buying solar exposure and owning the projects behind it.
