Sunday tip:
In sales, it is not about being the cheapest, it's about offering the best value for your customer.
Never apologize for your price, just make sure you are providing the best value and service for your price.
No one wins in a price war, especially the customer.
It is about establishing trust and relationships.

This is probably the most important tip when it comes to success in sales and in providing world class customer service.
In my experience, I have seen so many sales professionals talk WAY TOO MUCH and basically talk themselves out of a sale.
Listen... really actively listen to your customer/client and they will tell you what they need. Your job is to provide them with the best solution to their needs.
Ask open ended questions that get them talking and then steer the conversation into how your product or service is best for their needs; not the cheapest, not necessarily the easiest, but the best.
