Through the support of our donors, we have successfully completed Phase 1 for our GCCC Community Development Initiative with the addition of a new outdoor, multi-use learning space at the Guanacaste Children's Community Center - Worldschooling Education Hub

This space has been intentionally designed to support:

• Outdoor education
• Hands-on learning experiences
• Community-based programming

It represents an important step in expanding accessible, nature-connected learning environments.

This project reflects what is possible when communities are supported globally and built intentionally at the local level.

The space will now serve as a foundation for ongoing programming, including organized activities and local community play days, helping foster connection, engagement, and meaningful learning experiences.

When we see Guanacaste Children's Community Center - Worldschooling Education Hub students volunteering at Halfway Home, we witness the highest form of real-world education—where compassion becomes a catalyst for change.

This is where learning goes beyond the textbook to instill genuine social responsibility and empathy for all living beings. Every act of service creates a ripple 💚

At GCCC, we believe real learning happens through experience — and sometimes, that means muddy paws, wagging tails, and open hearts. 🐾💛 Today, our kids and families spent time volunteering at @halfwayhome_tamarindo , lending a hand, sharing love, and discovering what it means to learn through service. In collaboration with @hopeacrossborderscharity , our focus is on community empowerment and connection — helping our students understand that community includes all living beings.
