BREAKING BUSINESS & DEFENSE NEWS: Eric Trump, the son of President Trump, has reportedly invested in a U.S.-based drone manufacturer that is competing for contracts under the Pentagon’s $1.1 billion Drone Dominance program. This initiative is a major Department of Defense effort aimed at expanding domestic production of unmanned aerial systems and reducing dependence on foreign suppliers.
Eric Trump and his brother Donald Trump Jr. are supporting Powerus, a Florida-based drone technology company established in 2025. The company is now among the contenders vying for Pentagon contracts focused on developing advanced capabilities such as attack drones, drone swarms, and AI-powered unmanned systems, all part of broader U.S. defense modernization goals.
Their involvement comes at a time when defense policy is increasingly focused on strengthening the domestic defense industry, increasing military drone procurement, and addressing global security challenges. The situation has drawn attention from analysts, who note that it raises questions about potential conflicts of interest, transparency in government contracting, and the influence of private investments in defense innovation
While Powerus and other affiliated firms aim to secure portions of these lucrative defense contracts, some critics argue that the overlap between political connections and private sector investments warrants closer public scrutiny.

“Tell me who sent you, and I’ll call an ambulance,” she said while restraining the man who had come to kill her.
In September 2006, Susan Kuhnhausen, an emergency room nurse from Portland, Oregon, returned home after work and found an intruder inside her house. The man, Edward Haffey, was a convicted criminal who had been hired to assassinate her.
When he assaulted her, she fought back and managed to overpower him. She pinned him down and placed him in a chokehold until he became unconscious and died. During the struggle, she demanded to know who had sent him before agreeing to get help. She then contacted the authorities and calmly explained what had happened.
Investigators later discovered that the plot had been arranged by her estranged husband, Michael Kuhnhausen, who allegedly paid about $7,000 to have her killed in an attempt to avoid divorce proceedings. He was later convicted of conspiracy to commit murder and sentenced to prison, while Susan was cleared, as the incident was ruled self-defense.

Hero K-9 “Diesel” Found Dead After Disappearing During Police Operation in Redwood Forest, California
He wasn’t just a dog — he was Officer Diesel, a six-year-old pit bull who served with bravery and unwavering loyalty alongside the San Francisco Police Department.
Authorities are mourning the loss of one of their dedicated K-9 officers after Diesel was found dead near the edge of a Redwood Forest nearly a week after he went missing during a high-risk police operation.
Diesel was a blue-gray pit bull trained for suspect tracking, narcotics detection, and officer protection. To his handler, Sergeant Daniel Murphy, he was far more than a working partner — he was family
During a nighttime operation in Northern California, officers were pursuing suspects through dense forest terrain when Diesel picked up a scent and ran into the woods. Focused and committed to his training, he followed it into the darkness.
His handler repeatedly called for him.
But Diesel did not return.
For days, search teams continued their efforts, covering difficult terrain with the help of officers, drones, and volunteers, all hoping to locate the missing K-9.
Eventually, Diesel was found near a quiet riverbank beneath the redwoods — lifeless.
Officials have not yet confirmed the cause of death, which remains under investigation.
Diesel had served with the SFPD K-9 unit since 2019 and participated in more than 80 operations, assisting in suspect tracking, missing persons searches, and community outreach visits where he became a beloved presence.
To the public, he was a hero in uniform. To his handler, he was irreplaceable.
“Diesel wasn’t just my partner,” Sergeant Murphy said. “He trusted me with his life every day, and I trusted him with mine. Losing him is like losing family.”
The San Francisco Police Department will hold a public memorial next week at its K-9 Training Facility, giving the community a chance to honor his service and sacrifice.
Dogs like Diesel don’t just wear the badge — they earn it through courage, loyalty, and service.
Rest in peace, Officer Diesel. 🕯️🐾
