i am so proud of you. i am so proud of who you have become and what you have survived these past two years and f*** these past 16 years.

you have grown so much, and this past year you truly dedicated yourself to being better. you’ve taken the pain, rage, and hurt and put it into your music. i am so grateful to have been able to come back to you this year. we didn’t hide from the ugly or the pain. we faced everything head on. we didn’t hide from our feelings. we didn’t lie to ourselves. fear kicked our ass these past few years tho, but you have finally came out on the other side.

no matter what anyone says about you never forget who tf you are. never forget the lineage you come from. the city that raised you. the scenes that made you. never forget the love that got you here. never forget the lessons your mother showed you. never forget the lessons your father taught you. never forget the loved ones who poured their last breaths into you. let go of the guilt because you have made all your angels so proud

lil em, you have survived so so much. and i am so grateful to say that i see you now. that i will protect you with every fiber of my being. that i will never let anyone try to destroy you or break you. most importantly, i will never be your worst enemy ever again. i am so excited for this new chapter we have ahead of us. it will be truly magical. you deserve all the kindness and compassion in the world. and no one else in this world may give it to you, but i will. and those around you will always give you the love you need in case you forget how to.

i love you so so so much. thank you for all that you have endured to get me here today. thank you for pushing thru. thank you for never giving up. thank you for continuing to open your heart and love even after so much heartbreak. To new beginnings my love. to new beautiful beginnings.
