BTS swept the 2026 AMAs with three wins.

After four years away from the show, they returned and won every category they were nominated for: Song of the Summer for "Swim," Artist of the Year, and Favorite Male K-Pop Artist.

The Artist of the Year win is the headline. BTS beat Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars in a year where both had dominant album cycles, which makes this less about fan voting and more about sustained touring power and cross-format radio. Their total now sits at 14 AMAs, up from 11 before tonight, the most for any group this decade.

Song of the Summer for "Swim" is notable because summer songs rarely survive the fall voting window. "Swim" did, carried by the ARIRANG tour momentum and a streaming run that held through September.

This will be their first award show appearance since their military enlistment four years ago. The group is nominated in three categories, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer for “Swim,” and best K-Pop artist.
