More interesting details about the Tithe Barn...

We are really looking forward to welcoming back visitors once restrictions ease! Something not to miss is Bradford on Avon’s Tithe Barn which, at 51 metres long, is one of the largest medieval barns in England!
It was built in the mid-14th century to serve Barton Grange, the richest nunnery in medieval England.
Just a short river bank walk from town centre, around Barton Farm you will find further outbuildings converted into shops, cafes, a gallery and artists workshops.
You can also extend your walk through the Country Park, up on to the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal towpath or through the magical Becky Addy Wood.
