If you want to remember more of what you read, follow these seven simple tips:

1. Start with why you're reading the book.

What do you hope to gain from it?

When you keep your purpose in mind, you're more likely to be engaged with the material.

Thus read with a purpose this will help your brain better focus on and absorb the material.

Whether you want to learn about a new topic, gain a new perspective, or simply be entertained, know why you are reading the book. In this way or approach of reading will retain what you've read, try it and share your experience.

2. Take notes.

Make a habit of taking notes or highlighting as you read. This will help you identify key concepts and quotations that you can review later.

Active reading means engaging with the text, and one way to do that is by taking notes while you read.

This could include underlining key passages, writing down questions you have, or summarizing each chapter in a few sentences.

In my end, as I want to share with you that doing it is effectively helpful in retaining what I've read... hence, I am ultimately sharing it here [ Prosper You Inspiration Notes]

3. Discuss what you’ve read. Talking about a book with others helps solidify the information in your mind and also allows you to share different insights.

If there’s no one available to discuss the book with, try writing a short review or even just some thoughts about it in a journal.

4. Try different reading strategies. If you find yourself struggling to remember what you read, experiment with different reading strategies such as speed reading or re-reading sections that were more difficult for you to understand the first time around.

Read actively, not passively that means engaging with the text by asking yourself questions and seeking out answers, rather than just letting the words wash over you.

5. Practice regularly. Just like any skill, the more you practice reading, the better you will become at retaining information from books. Make it a habit to read regularly, even if it’s just for 20-30 minutes each day.

6. Get enough sleep and exercise . A healthy body leads to a healthy mind, so be sure to get plenty of rest and physical activity each day. This will improve your focus and concentration while reading, making it easier for your brain to take in new information.

7 .Use mnemonic devices . Groups of related words are easier to remember when they’re tied together using mnemonic devices such as acronyms (HOMES for the Great Lakes), acrostics (Every good boy deserves fudge), or rhymes (In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue).

Hey there! It's important to stay focused and motivated on our goals so that we can reach them. Encouraging people to post pictures of themselves doing something that takes them a step closer to their goals is a great way to remind ourselves what we are working towards.

It's kind of like when you are playing a game and you need to complete certain levels before you can move onto the next one.

You have to take it step by step, and at each step you could post a picture of your progress. That way, even when things get hard, you can look back at all the steps you've taken and remember how far you've come!

Let's say you want to learn how to play an instrument. Every day when you practice, take a picture and post it on social media for all your friends to see!

That way, when something gets tough or your motivation starts to wane, your friends will be there cheering you on!
