On May 18, at the Indian Prairie School District 204 Board Meeting, PAGES, alongside fellow P3 leaders received the most prestigious INSPIRE Award granted for exemplary service to the District 204 community.
The Board recognized our P3 Coalition, made up of PAGES (Waubonsie Valley HS), PACES (Metea Valley HS), PATHS (Neuqua Valley HS), and PILAR (204 Middle Schools) as a great example of their mission in action. Since 2013, PAGES has served as a resource to African American/Black parents and students at Waubonsie Valley High School and our work continues for the upcoming school year. THANK YOU Aurora in Black for the feature! 🖤
💚💛🖤SHOUT-OUT TO BLACK FAMILIES OF Waubonsie Valley High School: The annual PAGES HOLIDAY PARTY was a joyful evening filled with festive cheer, delicious food, meaningful connection, and heartfelt celebration. Students, parents, volunteers, and supporters came together to reflect, rejoice, and uplift one another in the true spirit of the season.
🎖A highlight of the evening was the Hype Me Up! Student Recognition, where each student proudly shared their accomplishments with the audience. These moments of confidence and affirmation served as powerful reminders of what is possible when young people are surrounded by a caring, supportive community that believes in their potential.
ℹ️PAGES (Parents Advocating for the Greater Enrichment of Students) was established in the summer of 2013 by a group of dedicated Waubonsie Valley High School parents committed to supporting Black students and their families.
