Currently there is a pending joint resolution to be presented to The Illinois General Assembly for approval, to rename a portion of Illinois I-80.

The resolution has been constructed to immortalize the world renowned legacy of Willie Casper Perry. ‘Casper” a product of the Englewood community of Chicago, IL who rose to celebrity status in own right by way of his first love of skating, stepping and musical genius creator of several unique slides including the infamous Cha Cha Slide.
