Illinois Media School has built a unique partnership with the Windy City Bulls, Chicago Bulls NBA G League Affiliate, that provides our students with real world, hands-on training in creating professional quality production for live stream, as our student interns cover all home games at NOW Arena.
Illinois Media School returns for our 7th season with the Windy City Bulls and our Sports Broadcasting and Audio Production students are ready to intern! Coached by our very talented instructors, who are themselves professionals in the industry and include award winning Audio Engineer Darius Lawrence and Executive Producer and CEO Joe DiGiacomo, our students are eager to learn and sharpen their production skills that will best prepare them for industry success. Broadcasts can be seen on NBC Sports Chicago where our students also have the privledge of working with Chicago Sports icon Mark Schanowski.
This season the broadcast production blessings continue at Illinois Media School. The 2022-23 NBA G League season has added NBA Greats; Chicago Bulls and Chicago Sport Analysts/ Sportscasters Will Purdue and Kendall Gill to our broadcast production team. This is going to be a most amazing season for all, and an awesome hands-on opportunity for these talented and ambitious students to learn from the pros to become pros!
We greatly appreciate the commitment of Brad Seymour, President of the Windy City Bulls, and this partnership with the Illinois Media School, to produce high quality broadcasts for each home game. Our interns are graduating with exceptional hands-on training and are industry prepared for their career starts.
