after a few unseasonably warm days, the temperature has dropped. i decided to whip up my first batch of vegetarian french onion soup. Bon ApPTEEt!

stepped outside of my culinary comfort zone this weekend when i was asked to make dessert for a marriage celebration for two of my friends. i decided on a truffle trio and here are the results. salted caramel, ancho chili infused and semi sweet with roasted pecans. i made 95 and there were 4 left at the end of the party. i think it was successful.
