It seems this organization is collecting funds using our community's name. Unfortunately, we don't have the same connections as they do. Our community's children struggle to learn Islamic knowledge due to language barriers, forcing them to attend other communities' madrasas (e.g., Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi). In those madrasas, our children can't understand 100% of what's being taught. That's why we've been trying to purchase this place.

The Rohingya community in Chicago's future dream has been broken by this organization. We've been collecting funds for our Rohingya community mosque in Chicago for quite some time. However, this organization gave an extra amount, and the owner of this place agreed with them. 😔
