A Morally Intolerable World The UN was born Oct. 24, 1945 after the horror of WWII. As flawed as it can seem, the good it does and the hope it brings still shine as a beacon of our better angels in a tormented world.

This iconic photo of Kamala Harris accepting the nomination for president at the Democratic National Convention by Todd Heisler is an extraordinary extraordinary example of effective photography.

The term “brand” has been around a long time. It’s etymology goes back to the Old English verb ‘to burn’ and ‘to mark with a hot iron’ giving rise to the noun sense ‘a mark of ownership made by branding’ and eventually toward our modern usage. Tom Peters is credited with coining the term ‘personal branding.’
