I’m breaking down my top 3 tips for curly hair!!

💥 Use a salon quality shampoo, conditioner...& deep conditioner regularly! This helps to make sure the hair is properly moisturized & strengthened with protein, keeping hair frizz-free.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥 Apply your products when your hair is WET. This allows the product to spread throughout your hair evenly, and your curl to form well when scrunching. If you twist sections to “set” your curls, this will allow your set to be clean and polished when dry.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💥 Diffuse your curls for volume! You don’t have to dry 100% but if you’re struggling to encourage your curl pattern, diffusing with medium/high heat and low air flow can do wonders. Go ahead, give it a try!

✂️ Sometimes all you need is some fresh bangs and a blowout!

Been getting tons of requests for bangs this month and it’s been SO fun! We opted for a full fringe that will grow out nicely, with longer pieces in the temples. When she wears her hair up, those face frame pieces will fall perfectly with the bangs for a subtle retro look!

Is your stylist continually taking classes? I’m always open to not only teaching, but learning new things for myself! Education will always be a priority for me and my salon.

I learned a TON from watching .lumiere’s classes online, and felt totally inspired to create a version of her “Split Frame Money Foilage” technique. I wanted to play up a super sassy copper formula with by .murphy.
