Join us for an evening of ethno jazz, with the Ana Everling Quartet. Ana is a singer and visual artist from the Republic of Moldova, who creates vocal music inspired from Romanian folklore, classical music, as well as improvised music. Possessing a brilliant and hypnotic voice, Ana brings traditional Eastern European music and storytelling into the contemporary idiom, delivering complex performances that address universal themes.
In 2023, Ana was honored by the president of Moldova the title Artist Emerit, for prodigious activity in culture and high professional mastery and substantial contribution to preserving and developing the spiritual values of Moldovan culture and promoting Moldova's image abroad.

To this end, we have partnered with a variety of groups such as MENTEE, Ladies of Virtue, and In Her Shoes Foundation. We are invested in the growth of our local communities and so use our platform to serve, educate, and collaborate. The On the SCENE student-led news teams and internship programs, including radio shows produced at Urban Broadcast Media, help give students and young adults the opportunities necessary to get involved within their communities through journalism. These mentorship programs allow us at SCENE Chicago to broaden our philanthropic reach by giving others the tools necessary to encourage change.
