It’s time to kick off our Midwest Top Sportsman Racer Spotlight, and this week we’re featuring DJ Mateicka!

The Ride:

Racing Background:
DJ has been chasing win lights for 13 seasons, but his racing story started long before the big car. He first climbed into a Jr. Dragster at just 8 years old, and he’s been hooked on drag racing ever since. From Jrs to Top Sportsman, he’s spent years sharpening his skills and competing at a high level.

Crew:
Every racer needs someone in their corner, and for DJ that’s his dad Don Mateicka, who makes up the entire crew. A true father-son racing team that keeps the program rolling every weekend.
