I know many of our neighbors can’t be out in the streets. We hope to be able to share information on how the community can support people who need to stay home. We have seen multiple reports of ICE near the neighborhood but so far they haven’t been seen between Howard/Peterson or McCormick/LSD.
Today for those that can participate and participate please consider heading down to the protest to say no to ICE in Chicago.
We would love to see everyone tomorrow now that the deep freeze has passed! Volunteers are always welcome…no special skills needed…check in at the food tables to chat about where we need help.
It's time for our mobile outdoor produce event and due to the cold temps please take care to dress warm! Neighbors looking to volunteer, please check in with any volunteer and we will run through what to expect & assign you a post.
