Our Story
Midwest Concert Video shoots concert and theatrical events. We use eight high-definition cameras to cover the entire stage from multiple angles. Audio is captured from the mixing board and multiple audience microphones to be mixed afterwards. Once we have finished shooting the event, all camera angles are synchronized and edited together, selecting the best shot at any moment.
To date, we have shot more than 300 concerts by various branches of the School of Rock. We will usually have a wide camera capturing the whole stage, medium cameras capturing a smaller portion of the stage, a close-up camera getting the soloist or lead singer, a reverse angle camera capturing backup singers, rhythm guitar, etc. and dedicated drummer and keyboard cameras.
