Yesterday, beneath the beautiful old tree at The Grove Redfield Estate, Samantha and Kurt promised forever surrounded by the people who love them most. It was one of those perfect July evenings where everything simply felt right.
One of my favorite details? They created so much of the day themselves. From the beautiful ceremony arch to the gorgeous florals, every detail reflected the love, care, and intention they poured into celebrating this next chapter together.
As I stood with them, the way they looked at one another said everything. Their relationship is built on trust, kindness, and an incredible foundation that has only grown stronger over the last seven years. You could feel it in every smile, every glance, and every promise they made.
It was such an honor to pronounce them husband and wife.
Redfield Estate will always hold a special place in my heart. It's where my husband and I celebrated our own intimate wedding, so every time I have the privilege of officiating here, it brings back wonderful memories while I get to help create new ones for another incredible couple.
Congratulations, Samantha and Kurt. Thank you for trusting me to tell your love story. Wishing you a lifetime of laughter, adventures, and always finding home in one another. ❤️

Did you hear the news? 👀
When I saw that Adam Sandler officiated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden, my first thought wasn't, "Wow, a celebrity officiant!"
It was...
Why him?
The answer is actually something every engaged couple can learn from.
The best wedding ceremonies aren't memorable because they're officiated by a celebrity. They're memorable because they feel authentic, personal, and completely centered around the couple.
After more than two decades of officiating weddings, I've learned that my job isn't to be the star of the ceremony. My job is to make my couples feel like the stars.
Whether you're getting married in front of 1,000 guests, planning an intimate micro wedding, or eloping with just the two of you, your ceremony deserves to tell your story in a way that keeps your guests laughing, crying, and fully present from beginning to end.
That inspired me to write my newest blog post:
"You Don't Need Adam Sandler to Have a Celebrity-Worthy Wedding Ceremony."
If you're engaged, I'd love for you to give it a read and let me know what you think!

Some weddings stay with you long after the last guest has gone home. ❤️. Yesterday was one of those days.
From the moment Vanessa and Nathaniel saw each other, the love between them was unmistakable. They radiate a warmth and kindness that draws people in, and on their wedding day, that feeling was multiplied a hundredfold. The way they looked at each other, the quiet smiles they shared, the happy tears, the little jokes exchanged throughout the ceremony... every moment reflected a relationship built on genuine friendship, unwavering support, and so much joy.
One of the most meaningful parts of their day was that they chose to marry on the eighth anniversary of the day they officially became a couple. Eight years of growing together, building a life side by side, and choosing one another every single day led to this incredible moment.
And then, just as the ceremony began, the clouds parted and the sun broke through. It felt as though the universe itself was giving its blessing, reminding everyone present that this moment was exactly where they were meant to be.
Standing with Vanessa and Nathaniel, surrounded by the love of their family and friends, was truly an honor. Their love wasn't just something you could see. It was something you could feel. It filled the space around them and reminded all of us what marriage is really about: finding your best friend, building a beautiful life together, and continuing to choose one another through every season.
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Kurtz. Thank you for trusting me to tell your story and pronounce you husband and wife. What a privilege it was to be part of such a magical day. 🤍

Happy 46th Anniversary to my amazing parents! ❤️
Forty-six years ago today, they stood together at West Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church and promised forever. My mom still laughs about how it was standing room only because so many people came to see her get married. After years of everyone teasing that she would probably stay single forever, my dad came along and changed that story in the very best way.
Their reception was simple and sweet. Cake, punch, nuts, fruit cups at the church, followed by a small family dinner. No extravagant celebration, just two people beginning a lifetime together.
And here they are, 46 years later.
Through all of life's seasons, they have built a marriage rooted in commitment, faith, laughter, resilience, and love. I am so grateful for the example they've given our family and for the countless ways they've loved us through the years.
Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad. Thank you for showing us what forever can look like. I love you both so much. ❤️🥂

What an unforgettable day celebrating Helen & Nirguna! 🤍
Saturday's ceremony at the Lincolnshire Marriott was everything a multicultural wedding should be. Joyful. Meaningful. Personal. And filled with so much love.
From Nirguna's incredible Baraat, complete with a classic car that later brought Helen to the start of the ceremony, to the heartfelt blending of Irish and Telugu traditions, every moment reflected who they are as a couple and the families who have shaped them.
One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was watching so many family members participate throughout the celebration. The Varmala, Mangalasutra, Thalambralu, Saptapadi, Irish Wedding Blessing, and the beautiful family blessings all came together so naturally, creating a ceremony that honored both cultures while telling one shared story.
The weather couldn't have been more perfect, the Rose Garden was stunning, and the love surrounding these two was absolutely palpable. It was truly an honor to pronounce them husband and wife... The Doctors Thalla! ❤️
A huge thank you to the incredible vendor team who brought every detail to life. It was such a joy working alongside some of the very best in the industry.
Congratulations again, Helen & Nirguna. Thank you for trusting me to help create a ceremony that celebrated not only your love, but the beautiful joining of your families, traditions, and cultures.
On the day you make it forever, make it incredible.

Some love stories begin with a grand gesture.
Grace and Kevin's began with a blue house in Chicago.
This past Saturday, surrounded by their family and friends at Exmoor Country Club, they promised forever to one another in a ceremony filled with love, laughter, community, and so much joy.
While I had the privilege of crafting their ceremony, my amazing associate Joyce had the honor of standing with them and officiating as they exchanged vows and began this next chapter together. I am so grateful to have Joyce on the Forever Incredible Ceremonies team helping couples create meaningful, personal ceremonies and making their wedding days forever incredible.
A heartfelt thank you as well to Soirée Smith for the referral and for including our team in such a beautiful celebration.
Congratulations, Grace and Kevin! Wishing you a lifetime of adventures, happiness, and all the wonderful moments still to come.
