Thank you to Dr. Irizarry, a psychiatric preceptor, for inviting all his former students to sit in on presentations by our SJSM colleagues currently rotating in psych in South Texas last Wednesday.

This luncheon provided an informative presentation on various topics including traumatic brain injury, severe traumatic brain injury in children, sequelae of mild traumatic brain injury, management of acute and moderate and severe traumatic brain injury, and post-concussion syndrome.

We look forward to many more of these mini symposium, both virtually and in person, in the future!

I would like to share this unique opportunity regarding our first emergency medicine conference in McAllen Texas, During this conference day starting Saturday, September 28 2019, students will have an opportunity to gain knowledge about Emergency Medicine residency programs, meet and greet program and medical director as well as various known speakers from various specialities in Medicine.
