The Hustling Hobo

I picked this coat up at Goodwill for $24.99. I put it in a box and shipped it off. Today I was paid out $159.60. You can still use Thredup to make money, friends!

I picked up 12 bags of clothes from neighbor that didn’t have a car in the city to bring stuff to Goodwill. I told her I would go through the items and keep them to use to build my Whatnot up and donate what I couldn’t use. I was going through the shoe bag and the first pair I pulled out were these. New without tags! I’m in shock! I can’t wait to get these listed!

I’ve only done pop up shows. When I have enough inventory I just go live and see what happens. Last night I got a raid with 100 people. It was crazy. Some even tipped me. The time put in versus the profit doesn’t make sense but I’m hoping I’ll get faster and better each time I do it. I’m very grateful for everyone that has helped me along the way.

I went to the bins yesterday and did a small pop up with 33 items. Sold 11 of them. Had 5 new buyers. The profit was small but I’m learning and hoping to one day do a show with 100 plus items. Multi tasking is so difficult. I just turned 40 and have a hard time reading the chat, talking and doing other stuff at the same time 😂 I’m an incredibly shy person so doing this is a win overall.

I was so excited to find a cute Y2K sweater that it made me miss this flaw 😭 I remember wearing this brand back in the day. Hopefully some sewing wizard can fix this!
