Roc Hard Entertainment Group

D was (it's excruciating to refer to him in the past tense!) the most defining artist of Our Generation! And this album was probably the most poignant of the last 30 years or so at least for me. As an artist this cat was integral to R&B, Funk, Soul music. He reminded people like me to go back to our roots in pull from our ancestors, our musical ancestors and not just try to create what we think is going to be hot or popular but create something new that we deeply feel, knowing that if we feel it as deeply as we should when we create it, somebody else will feel it when they hear it even though maybe most won't there is always some who will. is such an overused term to describe so many average or even below average industry types! But not strong enough of a term to describe this cat.
