Hi all, I apologize in advance for the photo quality. Nevertheless, this project was a life changer for this family and I thought you'd enjoy seeing this project as it unfolded. Let me preface, I did not furnish this place! This home was a 100 year old A frame in Chicago in serious need of a full gut renovation. The homeowners gave me full reign to recreate their small, fairly nonfunctional first floor. It was a rail road style layout and every inch mattered. There was a cramped galley kitchen, no real entry way, a small living space with bulky outdated furniture. I custom designed 2 large builtins and their kitchen cabinetry. I reshaped their kitchen from galley to a farm style sit in open concept. Window and crown moldings and 6 inch baseboards were added throughout, hardwood floors were refinished and darkened. Window treatments, light fixtures, coffered ceilings were added. The owners preferred a more traditional style. I always aim to please and thankfully, I did. Unfortunately, I moved to CA before I was able to get polished photos or furnish for them. Enjoy!
