92nova

Hey everyone,

Greg here. I want to thank everyone who has supported 92nova over the last few years. You know who you are. Everyone who put us on shows (especially Qbert Seiter), came out to shows, listened to our music, shared our music with others, or just told us “hey I really like what you’re doing, keep it up.” With all the sincerity in the world, thank you for supporting our vision. It all means so much to us.

Our goal with 92nova was to bring something unique and accessible to the world of heavy music - blending the hardcore, punk and metal stylings of my guitar playing and songwriting with Amanda’s R&B / Soul inspired vocals. We’ve recorded several songs which are available on Spotify and elsewhere (Bandcamp for digital purchase). We’ve played all across the greater Cincinnati area, gracing the stages of venues such as Legends, Northside Tavern, and MOTR. We’ve had a lot of fun. Sharing our music with you has added meaning and value to our lives. Thank you for reciprocating this with your support.

I am suppressing the urge to make this even more of a longwinded and sappy “History of 92nova” post because we have been through so much together as a band and haven’t really shared our story with anyone, but honestly does anyone actually care? More importantly I’m trying to not make this sound like a eulogy.

With that being said, 92nova is currently on hiatus. Our future is uncertain. The love and support we’ve gotten from friends, family, fans, and fellow musicians is real and not lost on us. Unfortunately at this time we need to take a step back from this project and focus on other things, as people do when their hopes and dreams begin to fade into the background of life.
