Crown Watts: Progressive Rock Is Core To Our DNA

Mark Cooper had a vision in 2017 to establish a band of like-minded musicians that had a desire to perform music that hearkened back to the prog rock era of the 70’s. In those days, bands wrote songs with classical influences with intricate & complimentary instrumental & vocal arrangements. These arrangements were often lengthy compared to the three-minute, three-chord pop songs on the radio. Mark did not have to look far to find his willing brethren with John Michael, Ryan Simpson and Danny Hunt. All of whom had grown up learning their craft with prog rock icons of Rush & Yes just to name a few. Of course, Crown Watts balances their show with a wide range of artists and music styles (see below); however, we think you will enjoy our prog rock edge.
