Here is a big side knife I made a while back. Its in the style of the blacksmith made fighting knives popular during the Civil War and earlier. The blade on this one I forged from a large rasp, and the guard was a piece of scrap rebar. The handle is hickory and semi squared for a solid grip, with the tang of the blade running through and peened to the pommel to keep everything secure. For the scabbard on this one I went with straight copper rivets instead of stitching for a different look. These big knives were often crude and tough, and the originals ended up being used more often to clear campsites of saplings that actual fighting! Perfect for Civil War or Old West reenanctors, collectors, or anyone else needing a big solid knife! This one is available so let me know if you're interested

Happy Wheelgun Wednesday! This is an old Harrington & Richardson Premier pocket revolver. Caliber is .32 Smith & Wesson. I bought this little double action top break five shooter over 30 years ago. Usually these are found pretty beat up and in rough shape, but this is the nicest one I have seen so far, and has been excellently cared for and used very little. The lock up and mechanics are flawless. These little pocket guns were based on the Smith & Wesson design, and were all the rage in concealable self defense around the turn of the 20th century. Ammo is a pain to locate, so I dont shoot it very much, but it is always a pleasure when I do.

Here's a real quick and simple wall hook I made from an old horseshoe. Can't have enough places in the shop to hang tools, tack, coats, etc!
