Brain Tumor Fight provides resources and support for caregivers of loved ones with Glioblastoma, brain cancer, and primary brain tumors.

That little girl on the left is me, Chelsea. That striking man with the mullet to my right is my dad, Chip. My dad was diagnosed with Grade IV Glioblastoma in June 2021. Just six months later, he passed away from this debilitating disease at age 58.

I had never heard of Glioblastoma and knew very little about brain cancer before his diagnosis. When I started researching, I realized that there were not as many online resources, donation opportunities, or treatment options for patients diagnosed with this rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Being a caregiver for my dad was lonely. Brain Tumor Fight was launched to help remind patients, family, caregivers, and loved ones that we are all fighting GBM together and you are never alone.

If you would have told me a year ago that I would be in the process of building a nonprofit for Glioblastoma, I would have asked you what Glioblastoma was.

In June of 2021, my dad was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer with a dismal diagnosis. Just six months later, even with treatment, he passed away. I am building Brain Tumor Fight to help provide resources and support for caregivers of loved ones with Glioblastoma, brain cancer, and primary brain tumors.
