This is Ben. He’s got the cutest little happy dance. Isn’t he adorable?
I get to watch him when his people are out of town. 💕

Here’s a tip from my yard- tomato cages.
Now, I don’t have any tomatoes, but I do have a lot of flowers.
A storm recently blew through resulting in my black-eyed Susans being laid flat on the ground. I really didn’t like that happening and certainly did not want to risk it again so I puzzled over how I could prevent it from happening in the future. I settled on trying the tomato cages I had in my garage.
One cage was a large round one that had four rings. I used my bolt cutters and cut it in half- right at the top of the second ring from the bottom. I used the narrower portion with two rings for a smaller plant that was less developed and I used the larger section (the other two rings) for the much larger plant that the wind had toppled.
It has worked wonderfully. Every few days I just checked the plants to see that the rings are not impeding them in any way as they grow taller. As they fill out, the cages practically disappear.

Today started with a clear task- deep clean the media room for my client while also packing the unneeded items as the house is prepped for sale. Sarah at SolShine Cleaning Co. and I began working on the chandelier first.
It put up a fight, but we won in the end. 🙂
A few methods were tried, but the only way to bring out the sparkle was to hand wash the crystals. Sarah pulled every single piece off, got the fixture gleaming, and we worked together on washing the bajillion crystals and re-hanging them.

Today consisted of continued work assisting my client with packing/sorting/cleaning/reconfiguring a room in the house in preparation for selling.
In this photo, only the artwork remained where it had been. The other furniture (and the rug) was on the other side of the room but was not arranged as it is re-imagined here.
Sarah of SolShine Cleaning Co. scrubbed this room top to bottom- making it *sparkle*. If you need cleaning done, you need Sarah. Trust me.

When you are helping a client collapse shelving and prepare it for moving and the handle for the plastic wrap has gone missing, you improvise. 😁

I’m way behind in posting to this page, but this one is totally worth it!
One of my clients is out in the country and their property requires a lot of maintenance because, it’s in the country.
Today they offered me some peaches from the peach truck, which I’ve never had the opportunity to try. SO good!
A delicious break from w**d whacking.

Today’s job? Helping a client set a fence line to enclose more cattle pasture.

Sometimes one just needs another set of hands. I have moved more times than I care to admit. So, when a client needs help with moving related tasks- I am in my element.

Not all of my client work involves yards. I’ve helped a client sort and organize a mountain of paperwork and I’m helping another client with sorting and organizing tasks related to moving so they can join their spouse who has already had to relocate for work.

My kid knew where I am working and brought me a libation. Sweet, right??
I think I’ll keep her. 💕😁
