Currently looking to fill part time and full time positions as a receptionist. We are located in Clinton Township and are one of the only ER hospitals in the area. We are a high volume, fast paced hospital but strive to maintain excellent care as an ER clinic. We work closely with the daytime veterinary hospitals around us. As a receptionist, the position requires efficient customer services skills, a positive attitude/mindset, multitasking skills, answering phone calls, triaging over the phone and in hospital, cashing out clients, client/patient data entry, effective communication skills with our entire team, handling difficult situations in a time of stress for the client and their pets, and learning/knowing signs of a medical emergency/critical case. Efficient customer service skills, a positive attitude/mindset, answering phones (multiple lines), triaging phone calls, client/patient data entry, payment transactions, effective communication with entire staff including doctors and technicians, multitasking, scanning/emailing/faxing/filing charts, be able to correctly relay medical information to an owner, handling difficult situations in a time of stress for the client and their pets, and learning/knowing signs of a medical emergency/critical case. Cleaning of exam rooms, front bathroom, and lobby. Currently looking to fill a PT/FT position as a veterinary assistant. We are located in Clinton Township and are one of the only ER hospitals in the area. We are a high volume, fast paced hospital but strive to maintain excellent care as an ER clinic. We work closely with the daytime veterinary hospitals around us. As a VA, the position requires a positive mindset/attitude, multitasking skills, answering phone calls, triaging over the phone and in hospital, taking pet vitals and history, communication skills with entire team, checking in and out clients/patients, assisting doctor and technicians with patient care needs (animal restraint, blood draws, x-rays, doctor exams and running lab work), handling difficult situations in a time of stress for the client and their pets, patient/client communication, and learning/knowing signs of a medical emergency/critical case. Due to the fact we are a 24 hour ER clinic, the job position will include some nights, weekends, and holidays.
