These skeins are perfect for shawl knitting. Of course, they can be used for sock, but without the nylon, the elasticity is minimal.
As with any hand dyed yarn, expect each skein to vary. If using more than one skein, it is suggested to alternate skeins every other row. Please note there may be a slight difference in color based on screen projection.

Each of 4 skeins is 3 ply worsted, 4 oz, 230 yards a skein (total of 920 yards). Size 8 needles (5.00 mm) 17 st/21 rows per 4 inches. Needles not included, item is not knitted. Yarn is held double and explanation is given in pattern.
This is by far my favorite yarn. Because it's a 3 ply, it's very round which means it will show off cable or lace work very well.
As with any hand dyed product, variation should be expected. It is suggested to alternate skeins every one or two rows for the best chance of a consistent fabric.
