Just over 1 year ago, I packed up everything and took the leap. Since then? It's been a roller coaster of highs and lows that I never saw coming.

I lost my best friend Luna, and that grief still sits heavy. Then this little dude Gilbert showed up and reminded me that healing doesn't replace, it just makes room.

Some friends became family from a thousand miles away. Others showed their true colors the second I left, good and bad. Distance has a funny way of clarifying things.

Oh, and I got robbed for a PS5 at a 7-Eleven, because apparently that's just how Denver welcomes you.

But through all of it, I've shot at every venue I dreamed of, including Red Rocks with my little brother by my side. That one still hits different. I built real relationships with Global and Insomniac, turned dreams into client calls, and proved to myself that betting on me was the right move.

A year later, I'm grateful. For the chaos, for the growth, for the sting, and for the moments that made it all worth it. Here's to choosing yourself, even when it's messy.

Might just be my new favorite!
