Following the Contest Winners' Reception, Putnam History Museum Executive Director Cassie Ward and Education & Public Programming Manager Kara Mattsen led us on an unforgettable historic stroll along Main Street, exploring Julia Butterfield's life and legacy.

We would like to give a huge thank you to the amazing judges and adorable and talented group of carolers. Lastly, a big thank you to library volunteer Barbara Eliran for bringing some very tasty holiday cookies and helping lead our carolers!

On Friday, Dec. 8th, as part of Cold Spring Aglow, join us at the Butterfield Library for the Julia L. Butterfield Bicentennial Writing Contest Award Ceremony at 4:00 pm, and stay for hot chocolate, treats, and a guided festive walk by the Putnam History Museum that will dive into the history of Julia L. Butterfield.
