A Chance Encounter between a Memphis Ophthalmologist and a world-famous golfer.

History

It was on a trip in the great oudoors that David Meyer and Jack Nicklaus struck up a friendship that resulted in Jack coming out to see the piece of land known as Spring Creek Ranch. Mr. Nicklaus was impressed with Dr. Meyer's vision of golf experience founded on pure nature. Since Jack shared this passion for nature married with the challenge of golf, he enthusiastically agreed to make 320 acres one of the most coveted golf courses for hundreds of miles.

The Golf Course

The Spring Creek Ranch experience is about the natural beauty of the land that makes up our unique golf course. These thousand acres were once a thriving cattle ranch, and almost all of it original terrain has been preserved in our Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Whether it’s the challenge of the double fairway on the third hole, or the meticulously manicured grounds around you, playing Spring Creek Ranch grants a sense of profound satisfaction for those who enjoy golf.
