901 POP

Three generations 💐🌻🌷

Cynthia started volunteering with 901 POP back in 2020, and we are thankful for the many ways she has put our mission into action. Most recently she has been helping with our arranging and delivering ~ the heart of what we do to !

And a few years later her daughter Emily joined in the flower fun! We’ve loved having both of these ladies volunteer and the cherry on top is Emily’s young family helping too.

Emily shared: “Volunteering to me means getting to teach my kids that it’s important to spend their time helping others. I’ve loved teaching them to learn to talk to adults and how to have a conversation with them. They also now love flowers which is fun to see them pick out their favorites and try to make pretty arrangements!”

Amanda is another mom we celebrate and thank for all she does for 9O1 POP. We are so grateful that she has found many opportunities to involve her family in our mission! 💐

She shares:
“I originally got involved with 901 POP since it was a volunteer opportunity that was easy to juggle as a mom. Flexible shifts, sign up at your own convenience, something for everyone etc. I soon learned it was a wonderful opportunity to involve my kids. My daughter particularly fell in love with 901 POP and it’s been a joy to see her continued interest and willingness to volunteer with me.

Instilling the importance of service and kindness to my children is high on my mom duties list and volunteering with 901 POP has given me the ability to share both of those things with my children.” ❤️

A big thank you to Caroline and the Town of Collierville Burch Library for coordinating a vase drive and service program for 901 POP! On Saturday we collected 125 vases/jars, and volunteers made clothespin crafts (note holders) and wrote notes. The notes accompanied the beautiful arrangements yesterday. 💌
