This morning, our Founder, Drew Lints, met Colonel Mark Tillman โ the pilot of Air Force One on 9/11. His reflections on that day were a powerful reminder of the weight of leadership.
On one of the darkest days in U.S. history, Col. Tillman was responsible for keeping the President safe while the world was changing by the minute. He spoke about clarity, composure, and making decisive calls when information is incomplete and the stakes are immeasurable.
At Revflow, weโre not flying Air Force One โ but we are committed to helping leaders face uncertainty with systems that withstand pressure, and decisions grounded in truth and trust.
Leadership isnโt about avoiding difficulty. Itโs about preparing for it, responding with conviction, and creating stability for others when everything feels uncertain.
That lesson mattersโin life and in business.

Our founders, Drew and Jen, joined the celebration at a 70s disco fundraiser for one of our inspiring clients, Pueblo Diversified Industries - PDI.
PDI is more than a nonprofitโtheyโre a community dedicated to empowering individuals with special abilities. Their mission goes beyond programs or services; itโs about dignity, opportunity, and helping people live full, meaningful lives.
At RevFlow, we feel honored to walk alongside organizations like PDI who remind us every day why growth has to be about more than numbersโitโs about impact.

Inflation has raised the price of everything. Labor is more expensive. And the old growth playbook โ โjust add more peopleโ โ no longer works.
Every hire increases complexity, training costs, and long-term liability.
Meanwhile, clients expect faster, cheaper, higher-quality service.
The margin for error has disappeared.
Thatโs why the future of growth isnโt headcount.
Itโs lean revenue systems that eliminate waste, protect margins, and unlock scalable growth.
โ
Automated lead management that frees sales teams from chasing cold leads
โ
Live dashboards that surface real-time margins and conversion rates
โ
Workflow automations that cut repetitive tasks
โ
Streamlined client experiences that reduce churn
โ
Scalable communication that prevents costly misalignment
The companies that thrive in this high-cost economy wonโt scale people. Theyโll scale systems.

Growth feels thrillingโฆ until it starts breaking. ๐
Leads pour in, clients multiply, your team pushes harder than everโ
but suddenly the cracks appear.
โ ๏ธ Chaos replaces clarity.
โ ๏ธ Delivery feels patched together.
โ ๏ธ Growth feels more like burnout than opportunity.
Hereโs the truth: scaling too soon is just as dangerous as not scaling at all.
Thatโs why we created the โReadiness to Scaleโ diagnostic toolโ

From Sprinting Lanes to Revenue Gains: Efficiency Wins Every Time
In high school, I thought I had it all figured out. I was a sprinter and long jumper, placing 4th at the indoor national meet and winning the national pentathlon. I even still hold the meet recordโthough only because they donโt run that event anymore! Ha!
By senior year, I assumed success was just about working harder and getting stronger. Then I arrived at Penn State as a freshman and quickly learned otherwise. My coaches tore apart my form: my start position, knee lift, elbow swing, ankle anglesโevery detail mattered.
What surprised me was that as I improved efficiency in each movement, I got faster while expending less effort. The power was already there; the key was eliminating inefficiency.
The same principle applies to business. Many of us have built something impressive through sheer grit and determination. But what got you here wonโt get you there.
If your systems, workflows, and meetings are inefficient, youโre leaving growth and profitability on the table.
Thatโs where Revflow comes in. We help you uncover and eliminate inefficienciesโthen replace them with best practices in:
โข AI enablement
โข Workflow optimization
โข Marketing and sales automations
โข Systems integration
When you get lean, revenue doesnโt just growโit flows more consistently to the bottom line.

Most people would rather face a firing squad than walk into a room full of strangers hoping to make new connections.
I get it. Itโs uncomfortable. Even scary.
But I love it.
Not because I enjoy the spotlight. But because every room is full of people with stories worth hearingโand when you approach networking that way, everything changes.
Hereโs the truth:
If you lead with your rรฉsumรฉ, youโll lose people in seconds.
If you lead with care and curiosity, youโll gain their trust.
Ask what drives them. What frustrates them. What future theyโre chasing.
Let them talk. Listen well. And watch how fast the relationship builds.
Dale Carnegie said something like, โEveryoneโs favorite sound is their own name.โ
Iโd add: Everyoneโs favorite feeling is being understood.
This photo was taken right before I stepped into the crowd. One hour later, I had 3โ4 new connections and a few video calls lined up.
Thatโs not luck. Thatโs love.
Because real sales isnโt pressureโitโs service.
Itโs helping someone make a brave decision they wouldnโt make on their ownโฆ but know they need to.
Iโd never cut down a tree this big before. But I was excited.
Chainsaw in hand. Adrenaline pumping. Confident enough to actโbut if Iโm honest, I was still guessing a bit.
Meanwhile, my wifeโs filming from a safe distance. You can hear the concern in her voice. Sheโs trying to stay calm, but deep down sheโs wondering if Iโm about to drop a 40-foot pine tree on our deckโฆ or myself.
Thatโs us in a nutshell.
Iโm the risk-taker. Sheโs the wise one, reminding me that โboldโ and โrecklessโ are not the same thing.
We laughed about it laterโbut the moment stuck with me.
Because after the dust settled and the tree hit the ground, my daughter started counting the rings.
Forty-six.
That tree was planted the same year I was born.
It had stood there quietly my whole lifeโoffering shade, stability, and strength without asking anything in return. And now, here I was at 46, cutting it down. Full circle.
It reminded me of The Giving Tree. How sacrifice, when done in love, becomes legacy.
And it reminded me of marriage. Of parenting. Of leadership.
How often we stand in tension between risk and reason. Between forging ahead and watching from a distance. Between doing something boldโฆ and doing something wise.
The people closest to us often bring the balance we needโif weโre willing to listen.
And while we wonโt be here forever, maybe the shadow we castโthe stability, the sacrifice, the presenceโis what lasts.
What kind of presence are you offering right now?
Are you the one with the sawโฆ or the one with the voice of reason?
And more importantlyโare you listening?

A few weeks ago, I was at a track meet watching my daughter run.
It pulled me back to a moment Iโve never forgotten from my own time on the track.
I had qualified for four events at the Pennsylvania State Championships. My focus was locked on one: the Long Jump. I believed I had a shot at winning it, and I didnโt want to waste any energy before that event.
So in one of my early racesโan event where my team was counting on meโI false-started. On purpose.
I walked off the track knowing exactly what I had done. It was a selfish, immature move. One thatโs stuck with meโnot because of the consequence, but because of the character it revealed.
I let people down who were counting on me. And Iโve spent a lot of my adult life trying not to repeat that mistakeโon the field, at work, at home.
Later that same meet, I witnessed something thatโs stayed with me just as long.
It was the 4x400 relay.
One team was completely out of itโlast place by a mile. The first three runners had left the anchor leg with a huge gap. Most of the crowd had stopped watching.
But then their fourth runner got the baton.
And something wild happened.
He took off like his life depended on it.
Within 200 meters, he caught the front of the pack.
He crossed the finish line first.
The stadium erupted.
The team stood on the podiumโtogether.
Not because they were all great that day.
But because one of them refused to quit.
I think about those two moments often, because in leadership, in life, we get to choose which story weโll write.
We either conserve ourselves at the cost of others...
Or we run our leg like it matters, even if itโs hard, even if weโre behind, even if we didnโt start the race well.
Hereโs what Iโve taken with me:
Self-preservation is rarely a winning strategy. Playing it safe often costs others more than we realize.
Thereโs always a chance to redeem the story. One act of courage or sacrifice can lift the whole team.
We donโt win alone. Whether we carried the baton or dropped it earlierโwe all stand on the podium together.
That track meet reminded me:
I want to be the kind of man who finishes his race in a way that makes other people proud to be on my team.
What about you?
Where are you holding back energy that someone else is counting on?
And what leg of the race are you running right nowโfirst, secondโฆ or anchor?
