This is a 32 year old truck. If you bought it and maintained it, it would likely last you the rest of your life.

Its powered by a straight 6 cylinder, fuel injected, and a 5 speed manual. It has heat, probably has AC. I wouldn't be opposed to a simple radio that you could plug your phone into that would both charge your phone and let you listen to your own music.

I've recently discovered the seat cover that plugs into your cigarette lighter and gives you a seat heater.

Nothing and I mean nothing compares to having your girlfriend/wife sit next to you in the center seat. Well ok, one thing could be better and thats having your dog sprawled out across the bench seat when you're exploring down some country road.

Another must have is a sliding rear window, not powered, manual. It let's in just the right amount of fresh air. Let's your hear the exhaust rumble. Let's you reach a cold one in your cooler, sitting in the bed. A cold one is a coke.

Cheap to register and plate. Cheap to insure.

No touch screen. No TIPM. No BCM. No CVT. No ABS. No TPMS. No Sat/Nav. No Parking sensors. No back up camera. No traction control.
All this stuff^^^^^is garbage that fails.

Manual windows, manual locks, vent windows, might even be the very last of 'high beam switch' on the floor.

New trucks start at $45k and they are pure garbage.

This truck will sell for about $800 and not only last you the rest of your life, but you can leave it to your daughter in your will and she will feel like she still has a piece of you as she drives it. That's what's called Soul.

Buy an older truck.

Snow is easier to deal with with a plow. Almost fun, in a redneck kinda way.
