Not everyone is into 80s Style Metal... (Hair Metal, Glam Metal, etc). I was always a big fan of the best work in that genre. Among my faves was a band from Sweden called Shotgun Messiah. They had a fantastic first album followed by a singer change and another fantastic second album. I saw them live at Summerfest in the early 90s and it still remains my favorite show I ever saw there and one of my favorite shows of all time (I wish I could have gotten video of that like we can these days!). They moved into industrial style on the third album (meh) and their second singer (Tim Skold) has carried on in that style doing solo work and work with Marilyn Manson and KMFDM.

Anyway, this song represents their original singer back with their guitarist, Harry Cody, my all-time favorite guitarist, operating in their original style. I haven't been happier with a new song in a long time! I have been wishing for more music from Harry for over 30 years... so this new song is a very big deal to me. I love it, and that doesn't just happen because I am a fan... most often, new songs from favorite artists fail to live up to the hope, hype, and expectations. This one does, for me. I think it is awesome... and it perfectly delivers exactly what I'd want from them... which few artists deliver so well 35+ years down the line from their prior work together!

I have to share spread the word for those who are also into this style of music! Now I am dying to hear the rest of the album!!

If they do shows in the US.... I have to get to one!!
