Well some owner operators in the trucking industry maybe applauding two trucking groups that are recommending that trucking have a set rate on moving freight. This is a complete joke, business is about competition and being able to out do your competition not for everyone to be on the same scale.

If we are all on the same pay scale, it’s still going to be crying and complaining because if a owner operator doesn’t know how to to operate a business when you have to compete than they really won’t know how to operate when they are on a set pay scale.

For those pandemic owner operators and carriers, if you are looking for a handout instead of educating yourself on business and definitely learning your numbers, then go be a company driver. It’s not the 80s or 90s in trucking, the industry has changed and a lot has changed for the best.
